Aurora 2.5 & 1 Mile Fun Run
It started out as a beautiful morning in Aurora for the road racers, but the thunderstorm forced the swimmers to stay ashore this year! Scott Pronti and Tara Gross, both from Lansing, finished their first races, while Mr. Xtreme bolstered through the 1 mile sprint, pushing the two kids in the stroller for a wild 6:45 finish for 3rd overall. Sorry kids, you will have to wait to catch me next year. Looking forward to next year’s race. Michael May of Southern Cayuga, captured the 2.5 mile overall title. Once again, fantastic organization of the race by Christine and Aaron Brozon.
